Shell Recognizes ISC for 11-year Safety Record
Geismar, Louisiana.- On January 19, 2007, Shell Chemicals honored
ISC for a remarkable 11-year
safety record during which ISC had zero recordable safety incidents.
In the nearly two decades ISC has been in business, the firm has
won numerous awards for industry-leading safety performance in some
of the nation's most hazardous industrial environments -- installing
and maintaining extremely complex electrical and instrumentation
systems while many of the facilities continued to operate.
ISC Associates are among the industry's best-trained and most
safety-conscious craftspeople. This accomplishment is a credit
to not only to ISC, but also to Shell for their excellent management
and well-designed safety policies.
ISC is the leading electrical and instrumentation contractor in
the Gulf South, and one of the largest firms of its kind in the
nation. The firm manages the work of approximately 1,500
associates from its headquarters in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and from
satellite facilities in Houston and Beaumont, Texas.
