ISC Receives Top Honor Houston, Texas - On December 9th, 2004 Texas Construction Magazine honored Industrial Specialty Contractors with their Award of Excellence for the Shell Deer Park Hydroprocessing & Re-Instrumentation Project. The Texas Construction awards program is one of the premier regional competitions recognizing outstanding overall project success. The Hydroprocessing & Re-Instrumentation Project consisted of the re-instrumentation of five-hydroprocessing units at Shell Deer Park, one of the largest installation projects of a Foundation® Fieldbus system ever undertaken anywhere in the nation. ISC began work in April 2003 with a contract value of nearly $9 million. The bulk of the work had to be completed in time for a plant turnaround scheduled for January 2004, and another in March. Work was planned in three phases: pre-turnaround construction, turnaround, and post turnaround cut-over, with emphasis on start and completion of the turnaround. ISC- Houston Division would like to thank all of our associates for their dedication and hard work. ISC accomplished what many considered impossible, and we would like to thank the entire team for making that happen. |
