Electrical scope of work on this project included the modification of sixty existing 1200-amp feeder breaker cubicles, eighteen existing 3000-amp incomer breaker cubicles, and seven existing bus differential cubicles. Additionally, fourteen existing blank cells were retrofitted as incomer breaker cubicles and seven existing blank cubicles were converted to bus differential cubicles.

Installed for the project's eighty thousand terminations were over twenty-two miles of internal switchgear wire used for controls and the electrical monitor system, six hundred current transformers, forty-eight line potential transformers, twenty-one bus potential transformers, five hundred linear feet of new 3000-amp electrical bus duct and five transformer ground resisters and foundations.

Over twenty-seven hundred control relays, switches, pilot lights, and terminal blocks were also installed to complete the control scheme. Finally, ISC installed four new dc battery systems, including battery chargers, transfer switches, manual disconnect switches, static switches and batteries.

In addition to the electrical aspects of the Exxon Refinery Revamp Project, ISC was also responsible for the scheduling, installation, pre-check, and review of the testing and commissioning procedures.

Additionally, the project construction team insured that the safety, quality, and timeliness of the project exceeded specifications.
