Reminder: ISC’s Personal Extended Leave of Absence Policy
All ISC associates are expected to provide 30 days advance notice when anticipating an absence from work lasting more than two weeks. An extended leave of absence request is required for a range of reasons including, but not limited to, extended vacation, bereavement, childcare, medical reasons for yourself or a family member, or other personal matters. The call-in line or a conversation with a supervisor is not a substitute for a formal extended leave of absence request.
When such an absence is expected or foreseeable, associates should complete a Leave Request form (available in Library Docs on the ISC Associate Portal https://iscgrp-hff.viewpointforcloud.com/), and provide it to a site supervisor or manager for consideration and approval by Construction Management and/or HR Compliance.
If a leave of absence expected to last more than two weeks is not foreseeable, associates must provide notice to their immediate manager as soon as possible and should follow up with submitting a Leave Request form. All call-in procedures and site rules must continue to be followed while waiting for extended leave request approval.
